Context

As a fast-paced sketch series covering a wide range of subjects and tones, the show presented a challenge: there was no clear consensus on how to market it in a single trailer without it feeling confusing or unfocused.

My Role

I developed the trailer concept, leaning into the show’s unpredictable and high-energy nature rather than trying to unify the sketches in some way. I use the music selection to bind the piece together to create a kind of Monty Python-esque madness. By structuring the edit around escalation and contrast, the variety became the selling point, allowing the audience to understand the show’s voice immediately.

Outcome

The approach was embraced by the creators and producers and became a key marketing asset for introducing the series to audiences.
